Baby's Here!!

Little Elizabeth Danielle joined us just before 4pm on Monday. She weighed in at 8lbs 70z, and 20 inches long. She's perfectly healthy, although she gave us a little scare during delivery when her heart rate was dropping during every contraction. It turns out that the cord was wrapped around her neck, but it ended up being just fine. Here are some very early picts of our newest little darling.

I had my weekly check-up today and ended up spending the afternoon in the hospital hooked up to the baby monitor and having blood drawn. they were concerned that my blood pressure was too high. 3 hours later, they sent me home and said everything looked fine, but that i would be back on monday for an induction. so, the time has finally come. sometime on monday we will have a new baby girl. that doesn't necessarily mean she won't grace us with her presence sooner since i am already 3-4 cm dilated and having contractions (inconsistently). please pray for everything to go smoothly and for the baby's and mom's health as we await the day.

Baby's Size

So, just for fun, we're polling to see what you all think the weight of the baby will be. Just to help you out, Ethan was 7 lbs. 12 oz. and Haley was 6 lbs. 4 oz. These are the guesses so far.
